Vishwakiran Nambi (the artistic director of LOKA) is a premier contemporary dancer and choreographer. He is well known for his unusual movement styling ,developed through extensive research on Indian Folk forms.

Nakula somana is one of the senior most contemporary dancer and choreographer based in the city. He has taught on innumerable dance courses in Bangalore and Mumbai.
Presently, (in his words) he would like to be paid for loitering and watching others as they push idea into interesting shapes. He is at LOKA using props and architecture to create interesting visuals.

Niranjan Harish is an amazing performer and an excellent technician.
He has been a lead dancer in several large scale productions, both stage and films. Trained extensively in contemporary dance and athletic principles Niranjan brings his own unusual language to the studio.
He is at LOKA teaching the beginners and intermediate batch. For those who know him this is chance to decipher him and for those who don’t know him come and find out why we just said that.
Deepthi Naik, is a dance enthusiast, a fabulous bathroom singer and as her friends and colleagues describe her ‘a ball of energy’. She started learning dance at the age of 6 under the guidance of Guru Smt. Shama Krishna. With a natural flair for dance, she completed her junior exam conducted by Karnataka Secondary Education Board with a first class and has also completed her Arangetram in the year 2016. She has received ‘Kalapravana’ award in the year 2019 for exceptional performance.
A dedicated learner, Deepthi has been part of all the choreographies of her Guru. She has also performed in the cultural programs of her school and college. A multi-talented Deepti has participated and won many competitions in singing and dancing. She is also a sport and Yoga enthusiast and is a popular figure in regional athletic events.
Nikitha Sharma (Niki) is LOKA’s Modern Bollywood teacher, she is our little rocket, who is a reality show star and an expert in making just about any style sexy.
She is gonna be teaching some super Bollywood choreographies with a pinch of modern dance.

Jessiya K George (A.K.A Freak Show) is our energy booster at LOKA. We call her ‘Patakha’ for her unreal energy while dancing and also while not dancing. She does the impossible by making dance more fun.
